The TRX is made with 1-1/2" industrial-grade nylon webbing with a rated tensile strength to 1,500 lbs. In my line of work I have made a number of big friends - but have yet to meet a man as large as that. Seriously though, one of the benefits of the TRX is that it is extremely strong, especially when you take into consideration its size and weight. It is one of the toughest pieces of equipment you can buy, yet remains packable and portable so you can take it pretty much anywhere. I've added a video (at right) that shows me working out with the TRX. I weigh in at about 250 lbs. - I'm not a small man - and the TRX has absolutely no problem handling my bodyweight. But don't take my word for it - check out the video for yourself. |
